"D" Units
| Dantalion | Stars | Tier: 3 Ascension:✔️ | Rationale |
![]() | Can Stop | ⭐ | Fully functional at 1 star |
| Recommended | ⭐ | There is no reason to upgrade stars. He is functional at 1*. He also has one of the worst trait scaling returns, receiving nothing but mild stat boosts with no improvement to functionality |
| Role/Faction | ![]() ![]() DPS, Support, Debuffer |
| Reasoning | Dantalion is quite useful in the early stages of the game, he can knockback, heal, and has decent damage. However, he falls off pretty hard in the late game and his historical use in very hard stages was just being an aura carrier. In fact, until SP Inanna release, he remains the only Iria big leaderaura. |
| Post Ascension | his aura now has 10% more dmg which makes him “the best iria aura''. he no longer has cooldowns when you kill anything and he's just a stat monster now. |
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Rare Iria Aura (20% DMG if enemy has 3 debuffs) 2 tiles knockback in a 3x3 area Somewhat tanky with Reaction and trait recovery Self sufficient in NRG recovery Mixed Damage (both Magic and Physical) | Low movement When fighting a boss, NRG is hard to replenish Lacks CRT buff, DMG buff to increase his output Does not perform any specific function very well |
| Skills | Reasoning | |
| Rank 11 | Endless Dawn | Dantalion’s most powerful skill |
| Rank 9 | White Sword | Due to his low movement, we prefer ranged attacks. |
| Rank 7 | For Iria! | Clear choice, Dantalion’s biggest selling point. |
| Rank 5 | ![]() Air of Royalty OR Tenacity | Up to preferences, Air of Royalty will allow him to be much more tankier in frontal combat. However Dantalion’s biggest threat is usually Watchers, especially archers, which Tenacity can help attenuate. |
| Rank 3 | Daybreak | NRG depletion is not useful in the game, whereas Healing Received forbid is very rare and can be key in specific stages. |
| Rank 1 | Unsheathe | More damage, VULN2 can be rare if you are lacking, it’s good to have one source. |
| Loadout | Skills | Notes |
| General | ![]() | Focuses on his ultimate while having decent basic attacks during downtime with Unsheath |
| Boss | ![]() | Sustaining 4 NRG costs for the ultimate against a boss is gonna be nearly impossible. isn’t cheap too, but will allow you to convert buffs into debuffs. It is useful against Weapon Trial 3. |

| Optional 1 | Newborn Blade | Good for stats and Dantalion benefits from it a little bit more than the average unit due to his higher than average HP. Also synergizes with Fools Tarot. | ||
| Best | Dusk | Its better then newborn but at cost of your sanity since its a lighthouse weapon | ||
| Optional 2 | Voids stabs | If you can manage to maintain the stacks it should perform just a little worse than his signature | ||
| Trinket | ||||
| Best | ![]() Or | Either one for stats | ||
| Best | Fafnir the Scarlet Armor | Gives him more movement | ||
| Tarots | ||||
| Best | Devil | Provides a great ceiling for stats both offensively and defensively | ||
| Optional 1 | Fools | Dantalion has a higher than average HP, allowing him to utilize this, especially with Newborn Blade | ||
| Optional 2 | Fortune | The random Buffs/NRG/Healing is useful | ||
| Optional 3 | Magician | Generic and reliable DMG% | ||
