Effects resolution order

Resolution Order

For some things in the game the order in which effects resolve will matter. The exhaustive list will be provided here. SoT - Start of turn, EoT - End of Turn

  1. Turn starts
  2. SoT effects targeting allies resolve
  3. SoT effects targeting enemies resolve
  4. “Breakfast time” procs, giving the happiness buff
  5. Flag tactics CD -1 on all skills, 1 NRG restored
  6. Preparation skills fire off. Happiness ends.
  7. Actions. For any action :
  1. “Before active attack” effects apply
  2. Action happens
  3. Board effects resolve (DoT application, item interactions, units getting damaged or dying)
  4. Any triggered traits resolve (think Col)
  5. Happiness ends
  1. Turn ends
  2. Fullness check happens (probably a bug?)
  3. Buffs / Debuffs count down / end (includes happiness)
  4. EoT effects get resolved
  5. Engraving resonance procs (we assume it’s earlier than Senshi happiness, not tested)
  6. Senshi happiness is applied
  7. CD -1 on all skills, 1 NRG restored

Multiple “Resolve” effects

If a unit has several sources of resolve, it might be important which one will proc first. The order tests confirm so far:

  1. Unlimited resolve (i.e. Alexei , Tristan )
  2. Reaction and Passive skill resolve (i.e. Rawiyah SP )
  3. Limited resolve from buff (i.e. Ayisha pledge).

Notable things affected by happiness

Luvita’s sig (Nirvana) - if it’s Senshi happiness.

Col’s trait, Maricelle’s sig and Pamina’s spear if you trigger them within first action
