Heshan🔥StarsTier:0.5         Ascension: ❌(General team) Rationale
Can Stop⭐ ⭐ ⭐Grants 1 NRG at the start of battle, which allows him to activate his aura and use his primary active skill, which in total costs 4 NRG, which Heshan lacks. He is faster than SP Inanna, a primary source of +1 NRG of most teams, making it increasingly important to reach 3 stars or draft Taair, or simply run a less effective skill loadout that is more NRG-sustainable.
Recommended⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐If you're really in need of a piercing unit who's also just great support, his 5 stars will be about a 30%~ dmg boost from 3 stars. It's very worth it. He also gets 1 NRG at the end of each turn, making skill management better.
Role/FactionHealer/Crit Buff/Elaman stacker/Piercing DPS
ReasoningHeshan is a perfect fit into the support gap we have been lacking. He provides very substantial levels of critical strike chance and crit damage. He has overall solid role compression, being able to buff and heal simultaneously, while sometimes dealing damage, or changing his playstyle to lean more offensively with piercing/infection damage. Overall, he is balanced by the fact he falls into a more traditional “numbers” support role, making him largely “non-essential,” similar to Credenza, but extremely potent as a buffer. However, he is extremely fast, reducing the clunkiness associated with extremely slow supports. His primary “downsides” are that he is fairly NRG-demanding and he requires shifting his stance between healing/buffing or attacking instead of having the option to do both at once. He also lacks more traditional damage buffs outside those crit-related and RNG ones. Overall, he is highly recommended.
StrengthsWeaknesses
Reliably provides Crit2, CRTDMG2, and another 20% crit and 5% CRTDMG as an aura, with an additional 10% crit and 5% CRTDMG for units with Liberation stacks, and Gives 1 NRG & 1 RNG lvl 2 buff  to all in the AOE . Healing reversal and being piercing with healing means you can benefit both from piercing vuln on enemy and healing bonuses for himself. Provides 5 Liberation stacks per turn. Provides AoE application of the rare [Healing Reversal] debuff and he can drain 1 NRG on his DPS mode. Can apply Shattered Shackles debuff up to 8 every 2 turns.Need to be close (2-3 Tiles) to be affected by his end of turn melodies Needs a little bit a of external energy support, whether it’s sig/banner/fortune tarot or a unit to max skill spam (outside of max investment)
SkillsReasoning
Rank 11Woodland SuiteVery strong ST move. The piercing attack does 120% and applies 2 stacks of infection. On the support side, it’s mostly just a ST healing move, unless you need it to cleanse anti-healing. You get 1 NRG when using this, but you won't really use it much.
Rank 9Chaos MarchGood basic to use on off turns when not at 5 stars or 3 stars with some type of NRG support. Allows you to apply anti-healing damage regardless of mode. Recovers 1 NRG and applies 2 infection stacks.
Rank 7Tribal Anthem (Castalia) Horns of HomeCrit2/CRTDMG2 + 1 lvl2 buff + 1 NRG + lots of healing  when playing support melody. With offensive melody, applies healing reversal to all targets in range (not just 3) + extra damage + 1 NRG removal + 1 infection. Aura gives allies (self included) more crit and CRTDMG plus extra DMGRED to self.
Rank 5Echo In The MountainsDMG-RED and self-healing when hit, plus a free melody trigger when hit once/2 turns.
Rank 3Healing lullabyST Liberation-stacking option with a small heal and 2 lv2 buffs. Won’t really use it unless you have no choice.
Rank 1NRG restorationThis allows NRG sustain at low stars, but should be replaced immediately.
Base Skill & Trait SkillPerformance Finale Cold SteelCore skill that is essential to his kit. You will lose 2 NRG on turns in which you switch melodies. Remember that the healing one also gives Melodic, an aura (which includes himself) that gives constant ATK2. Applies 8 stacks of Shattered Shackles, 1 turn of healing reversal plus buff dispulsion with healing, gives self healing buff 2-4 based on Liberation stacks, and heals allies and healing-reversed enemies.
LoadoutSkillsNotes
General build (Best 3 star+)This is the ideal general build that you would run at nearly all times, moreso post-3 stars, when you have sufficient NRG.
ST Stack-giver (no Lukamar cope)Can be your ST Liberation stacker if you really need it.
Boss copeIf you can’t manage the NRG for Tribal Anthem, but need to improve your ST damage or deal with anti-healing on your side, this is an option.
DPS cope for no sigThis allows him to use his 3 NRG active skills more regularly. However, it is only practical if you need more substantial heals or damage, since if your main concern is buffing, his aura provides more passively.
Weapons
Dispel⭐ (General)Reorganized CubeEnemy debuffs can sometimes be crippling. Stacking sources of dispulsion is useful. Also buffs his DPS/healing values.
Solo DPS (Min Max)Dream TurbidityBest DPS/healing staff for him if you have a 4- or 5-star copy. Note: Heshan doesn’t have [Piercing DMG] in his kit, so to get max stacks of healing effect, you’ll need an external active skill source (armguard / flint). You still get 1-2 stacks at battle start for a non-expiring 16% bonus.
Piercing Support/ DebuffNightmare PuppetApplies piercing vuln (that works for his healing reversed damage too) and applies debuffs. Only triggers on Withered Dirge.
MovementThreaded FragranceShort legs problems are mostly considered a thing of the past, but if you need 1 more MOV, you have it.
NRGCornucopia StaffSolid source of NRG sustain for spenders.
Tarots
Dispel⭐EmpressBiS for harder content against debuffs. Recommended especially if you chose not to use “Reorganized Cube”.
Healing/DPS⭐PriestessIncreases healing and DPS values.
DebuffJudgementBest for amplifying team damage against a ST boss.
SustainFortuneHelps with NRG and stats, just unreliably.
Healing/DPS⭐DevilWill give the best value boosts if you get to stack it soon enough into a battle.
Trinket
BestDeadwood of Thunder Resonant CrystalBoth are great. Deadwood of Thunder gives healing boosts and basically a copy of the NRG Recovery passive on a cooldown. At 5 stars, there’s no cooldown, and the first trigger gives bonus NRG and lv2 buffs. Credenza’s sig is great for NRG and movement on all stars.
GoodScrolls of Auguste Cooling PowderMore healing/speedtuning support.
UsableDisaster BottleFree debuffs. Applies Nightmare Puppet.
GoodMemory of Teeth/SoJ/HourglassGood stat sticks for his DPS build. Can also include Deceptive Shadow if you have a 5-star copy.
UtilityFafnir the Scarlet Armor/Deceptive ShadowExtra mobility (at a stat cost) and bound resistance can be very impactful.

Best(Healing)(DPS)Doesn’t require movement like sword-wand, but buffs healing and DPS similarly.
Best(Healing)(DPS)Buffs healing and DPS better than cup-cup as long as you keep moving 3+ tiles and acting.
Good(NRG)Periodic NRG/CD refund. Only works on first skill per turn, and not channeling costs, so it’s basically only good for Tribal Anthem or Healing Lullaby, unless you bring Woodland Suite.
Unit/Skill/Buff Interactions
Healing Effect, Healing Reversal and Piercing interactionHeshan DPS works this way: He does healing -> healing reversal converts it into piercing damage received on the enemy. Hence, things that increase his DPS: piercing vuln on enemy and healing effect buffs on himself. Things that don’t increase his DPS: piercing DMG buff on himself.
Crit conversionHis trait’s effect is not to cause “crit heals;” it converts his crit rate into a healing buff. Take his crit rate, set a cap on it according to his trait (30/40/50%), and add the result onto any other healing buffs (like the cube’s 15%).
HasnaStarsTier: Fun Ascension:✔️Rationale
Can Stop⭐ or ⭐⭐⭐No important function is locked behind higher stars, but she is extremely clunky with her [Fragrance] application without stars. 3 Stars is a threshold that increases range by 1
Recommended⭐⭐⭐Would not recommend building her, but if you do it would be 3 stars for the tile range/stat increase
Role/FactionMagic Nuker/DPS/Debuffer
ReasoningSometimes it is better to Hasnot. Jokes aside, Hasna is an inefficient mix between a nuker assassin and a specialized debuffer. Her job is to burst a single unit, then walk out of range otherwise her lack of bulk puts her at high risk. But while she wants to be outside Aggro range at the end of the turn, her passive contradicts this goal by only applying at the end of the turn or by direct application from a passive. She struggles with skill slots and her ST ceiling is unfortunately not sufficiently high.
Post Ascension 1….
Post Ascension 2Hasna has received an effective 2x output in burst on her first turn when paired with Lukamar due to gaining [act again] when she has 10 layers of [Liberation]. Currently though, Lukamar is the primary source of stacks and Hasna herself requires 5 attacks to reach 10 stacks independently, making sustain mediocre. Even with this buff, her output is still behind the top ST nukers, but it puts her within a more respectable level of burst capability. Ultimately though, this does not affect her overall ranking or usability much since ST content is very limited.
StrengthsWeaknesses
100% crit chance Access to Focus Wand combined with “Scent Tracker” allows 5 range on her core offensive skills and to simply walk out of range of most enemies afterwardsEntirely ST so she contributes low total value while also not having enough damage in her speciality to justify the investment [Fragrance] is applied at the end of her turn, resulting in an inability to capitalize on it earlier “Scented Trace” feels like it exists for a false skill choice agency. The arbitrary high NRG costs of her abilities and application of Fragrance only during the end of her turn makes this passive a mandatory option. “Scent Tracker” also feels like it should've been a part of her trait
SkillsReasoning
Rank 11PenetratingHer primary ST skill
Rank 9Murderous PhantomPhantom has a pretty solid total damage for a basic
Rank 7Scent Tracker“Scent Tracker” provides 30% crit, important range, and to get out of enemy range after attacking
Rank 5Soft as FlowersHasna needs the damage reduction
Rank 3Scented Trace Aroma Assault(Can castalia)“Scented Trace” is necessary for sustaining “Penetrating” NRG costs. Unusually, despite the description, this skill provides Hasna with one additional NRG than actually stated at the start of the next turn for an unknown reason. This makes the total recovery 4 when you include natural regen, allowing you to sustain Penetrating If you opt for a low NRG cost build and also save a slot for another passive, you can take “Aroma Assault” as well
Rank 1Battle FeverBattle Fever can be a very useful damage mitigation passive. Hypnosis is far too unreliable and has a ridiculous cooldown

HomaStarsTier: 3 Ascension:✔️Rationale
Can Stop⭐⭐⭐Good qualitative change, more damage, 1 more movement.
Recommended⭐⭐⭐or ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Homa doesn’t appear much anymore in ranked meta, so 5 stars is a luxury. But it is one of the best nrg depletion tools available along with rare buff stealing utility.
Role/FactionDebuff/Buffer/Healer/SubDPS
ReasoningOriginally belonging to T0 for a while, Homa has since been demoted. She is an effective and generally practical Support/DPS. Thanks to her high speed(conveniently and intentionally 1 speed faster than the meta DPS at the time, Auguste), useful Move2 and Atk2 buff, her application of the unique -P.Def3, and the unique function of her Barul Support bird assist attacks, she was the premier support for physical damage units, as she could contribute a substantial level of additional damage through paired DPS units who utilized multi-hit abilities such as Auguste,Tristan, and SP Rawi. She also healed and dispelled buffs with great potency, as well as providing dodge, and she herself could deal a solid amount of damage outside her bird assists thanks to strong AoE multipliers when she and a paired unit could overlap her skill AoEs. As time passed, healing and dispels have largely fallen out of significance as a highlight in a support’s appeal, and the meta had shifted away from ST bossing after the revamp of ToA. Her inability to buff multiple units and to cater to the needs of the newer generation of units made itself an apparent weakness. Many newer units either lacked multi-hit abilities, were AoE, did not deal Physical damage, or had better debuff/DMG amplification options than a mere -P.Def3/Atk2 that Homa provided. New design direction in TW makes units not fully immune to control, so Homa’s CC utility and her 5 star nrg depletion give her more uses. On global at 5 stars she's an excellent CC tool even in off-colour pioneer stages thanks to dodges, climb and nrg stealing. She still remains a unit you’ll rarely field for ranked content, but she has a solid spot at 5 star for toughest maps.
Post AscensionHer values in both offensive and support have considerably improved to keep up with modern standards, however this comes at the cost of forced pairing with [Liberation] stack providers such as Lukamar. Homa is also faster than Lukamar, resulting in an awkward scenario where you can't use Hashalaram Festival turn 1 without wasting it and need to wait until the next turn when you have stacks. This is not a significant downside since the value of double Hashalaram Festival and two turns of AoE blind can be rather potent. But while the skill cooldown is reduced, the NRG cost is not, forcing Homa to be 5 star to more freely take advantage of this. While there is a lack of ST content where Homa has previously excelled in supporting, this R13 drastically improves her general play viability when paired with Lukamar and is one of the better R13s.
StrengthsWeaknesses
Can grant [Move2], [Jump], and [Atk2] on a single ally, putting [Baloor] on them with instant skill P.DEF3 reduction on ST that applies [Blind] debuff (80% chance to miss st attacks) on the primary target and then has another 50% chance to [Blind] targets in a 2 tile aoe around [Baloor] Very good elevation/affect range on all moves Can grant a 1x [Disturbance] (dodge 1 time per round for 2 rounds) to skill target and current [Baloor] holder after using “Hashalaram Carnival” Solid user of “Bow of Martyrs” to apply a unique 10% dmg taken debuff on the target through her ACTIVE ST attacks Can steal buffs/nrg at 5* with all her moves including bird assist which can assist in enabling units like Estra, sustain her own NRG and effectively disable high dmg skills on scary elites. Skills like Hashalaram Carnival when used on a target will inherit the ally ATK stat and it can also interact with some traits. EX.Saffiyah With the new R13, she can apply [Blind] in an AoE two turns in a rowLack of units who can utilize her assisting bird to the fullest without the use of a flying blade armguard Nrg problems outside of 5 * will need sustain under stared DPS starts to lag with more strong units who don't have lots of instant ST moves. Slotting her becomes more difficult because of stronger options. Taking advantage of Homa’s R13 and improving her general usability is completely dependent on R13 + Lukamar + 5star
SkillsReasoning
Rank 11Hashalaram CarnivalProvides Dodge, AoE Damage, silence, negation of reaction skills. This all in one skill is much better than her conditional ST skill “Heart-Piercing”
Rank 9Tangling Flying KnivesBeing able to move again after attacking is a fantastic utility option to reposition for the next action or out of danger. Meanwhile for Ice Strike, -Move1 on a ST basic is largely inconsequential
Rank 7Rampage ArcherScatter is niche because of Barul’s AoE/Hasalaram. Rampage offers higher DPS against stationary bosses
Rank 5Evasive MirageDodge is the equivalent to full damage reduction against ST, deals some damage, and repositions herself away from the enemy
Rank 3HarmonyFrequent dispel + heal
Rank 1Tacit Choice Hovering Support(Castalia)Take both. Core skills.
LoadoutSkillsNotes
GeneralMost comfortable for general use and low stars. Minimizes NRG usage
General 2If you have sufficient NRG, “Hashalaram Carnival” is a fantastic skill that grants a unit dodge on a ST attack, deals damage on both Homa and the chosen unit, and applies debuffs that prevent the enemy from using skills and turning off passive skills

Unit/Skill/Buff Interactions
Bird assist + LongbowBird assisting attacks do NOT apply the Martyr debuff. Must attack directly to apply
Og Inna “Princess’s Prayer” + using Hashlaram Carnival on selfThis bugged interaction makes Homa fully invulnerable to all damage including DoT. to trigger it you must apply carnival on herself during the extra turn granted by og Inna.
Tacit Choice -> Baloor Attack + any unit’s trait or passiveWhen using [Baloor Attack] or [Hashalaram Carnival] skill, the extra attack from [Baloor] that resides on the ally is considered that ally’s attack and triggers all passive/trait effects that can be triggered by non-active AoE attack. The exception seems to be effects worded as “After attacking”, they will not proc this way. It works with things like Luvata ’s leaping flames, Og Saf trait, wound application (but not extra damage) from Agata trait, Momo’s “Erosive power” potentially on some others too.
Hashlaram Carnival is not an active move and will bypass almost all mob reactions.
